Abstracts issue
All of the contributed abstracts for the workshop will be distributed by USB memory media which you can bring back home.
We are not planning to provide abstract booklets. Participants are strongly recommended to bring along laptop / Mac book / netbook computers to view abstracts during the workshop.
Wireless internet connection (Wi-Fi network) will be available throughout the workshop.
Oral presentations
For reasons of security and computer virus protection, presenters are encouraged to bring their own laptops for presentations even though our computer is also available.
In case you want to use your own laptop, you are required to check the connection with a test projector in advance. For smooth rotation of presenters, the next presenter is asked to stand by at the front desk, connecting the laptop to our monitor switch box.
In case you want to use our computer, you must transfer your presentation files to the computer before the session begins. Our Windows XP computer has Microsoft PowerPoint 2003, OpenOffice.org 3.0, and a PDF reader. No Mac computer is available. You can bring your presentation files on a USB memory device or CD-R. We cannot accept floppy disks and or other media.
Poster preparation instructions
The appearance and the dimension of the poster boards are shown in the photo. Please prepare your poster on one sheet not exceeding the poster board size: 83 cm horizontal by 164 cm vertical. Alternatively presenters may display their material on several smaller sheets within the board. We recommend using only the top half of the poster board for best readability (approx. 80cm square). Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors as stated on the submitted abstract.
Please refer to the final program, which will be shown in the web site soon, for the poster board number assigned to you. Please use the board with the same number.
