2026年1月25日(日)～31日(土)、国立研究開発法人科学技術振興機構（JST）の支援のもと、高専の独自技術教育体験を提供しつつ、単位互換、共同研究、および共同教育(交換教授による集中講義)に関するフィジビリティスタディを実施することを目的にベトナムの短期大学（カオタン工業短期大学、商工短期大学）の学生・教職員8名を受け入れました。
　超短パルスレーザー精密加工実習や本校の教育・研究施設、授業・実験実習の視察はもちろん、企業の工場を見学し、高専OBが最先端技術を支えている製造現場を視察しました。また、実習後には、学生に質問するなど、本校教員・学生とも交流を深めました。
　最終日は研修を通じて得られた高専教育の特長など個々に発表があり、活発な議論がなされました。

JST Sakura Science Program Exchange Program

From January 25th (Sun) to 31st (Sat), 2026, with support from the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), we hosted eight students and faculty from two Vietnamese junior colleges (Cao Thanh Industrial College and College of Commerce) with the goal of providing a unique technical education experience at KOSEN while conducting a feasibility study on credit transfer, joint research, and joint education (intensive lectures by exchange professors).

In addition to ultrashort pulse laser precision processing training and observing our school’s educational and research facilities, classes, and laboratory training, the students also toured a company’s factory, where KOSEN alumni observed the manufacturing site supporting cutting-edge technology. After the training, the students also had the opportunity to ask questions to the students, deepening their interactions with our faculty and students.

On the final day, each student gave a presentation on the unique features of KOSEN education they learned through the training, leading to lively discussions.
