令和６年４月８日(月)及び4月11日(木)、中講義室において、本校学生を対象にＤＭＭオンライン英会話説明会を開催し40名あまりが参加しました。当英会話はオンラインでマンツーマンの英会話レッスンを毎日受講できるサービスで、１日１回２５分のレッスンを、毎日１回、自分の好きな時間に受講できます。本校では令和２年度よりDMM英会話の実施に取り組んでいます。
　令和６年５月から令和７年４月までの１年間のプランで①スタンダードプランと②プラスネイティブプランの２つのプランから選択することができます。説明会では福井グローバル推進副室長の受講プランの説明に始まり、実際にＤＭＭ英会話を受講している小西化学コース主任、松本教務主事・副校長から経験談を交えてのお話しや激励の言葉があり、参加された学生の皆さんは熱心に聞き入っていました。
　あわせて日本学生支援機構海外留学支援制度（協定派遣）と機構本部海外活動支援事業の概要説明も行いました。基準を満たした受講者には、補助が出るほか、キャリアポイントも付与される予定です。多くの皆さんの参加をお待ちしています。

The information sessions kicked off with a comprehensive course plan explanation delivered by Mr. FUKUI Ryuta, Deputy Director of Global Promotion. Following this, Professor KONISHI Tomoya (Chemistry Course Director) and Professor MATSUMOTO (Academic Affairs Dean and Vice President), both experienced DMM Online English Conversation users, shared their personal experiences and offered encouraging words to the students.

The attentive participation of the students throughout the sessions highlighted the strong interest in this program.
