２０２４年９月３０日（月）本校において、阿南市、阿南市国際交流協会、本校外国人留学生及び教職員との懇談会を５年ぶりに対面で開催しました。この懇談会は、日頃から外国人留学生に対して温かいご支援をいただいている阿南市並びに阿南市国際交流協会の方々等をお招きして、謝意を示すとともにさらなる国際交流の進展を目的にコロナ前は毎年開催していたものです。
　懇談会では、箕島校長からの謝辞、横手 阿南市企画部秘書広報課長、荒谷 阿南市国際交流協会会長からのご挨拶に続き、留学生による母国の紹介があり、たいへん盛況でした。日頃は、夏祭りへの参加や小学生を対象にした「国際理解教室」など様々な地元の催し物で親睦を深めていますが、懇談会でも、和気あいあいとした雰囲気の中、とても有意義で貴重な時間を過ごすことができました。

A Social Gathering was Held with Anan City, the Anan City International Association, our School’s International Students, and Faculty and Staff

(September 30, 2024) 

On Monday, September 30, 2024, our school held a social gathering with Anan City, the Anan City International Association, our school’s international students, and faculty and staff in person for the first time in five years. This social gathering was held annually before COVID-19, inviting people from Anan City and the Anan City International Association, who have always provided warm support to international students, to express their gratitude and to further promote international exchange.

The social gathering was a great success, with words of thanks from Principal Minoshima, greetings from Yokote, head of the Secretariat and Public Relations Division of the Planning Department of Anan City, and Aratani, chairman of the Anan City International Association, followed by introductions of the international students’ home countries. We usually deepen our friendships by participating in various local events such as the summer festival and “International Understanding Classes” for elementary school students, but the social gathering was also a very meaningful and valuable experience, as it was held in a harmonious and friendly atmosphere.
