2024年10月3日（木）、機構本部包括協定校であるシンガポールのリパブリック・ポリテクニックよりKelvin　Loo教授，Tan　Boon　Kiat教授、Steven　Chong教授と学生３６名が本校を訪問しました。リパブリック・ポリテクニックには、本校から2023年度、2024年度にそれぞれ２名の学生をJASSO海外協定派遣プログラムで派遣しており、９月からリパブリック・ポリテクニックより特別聴講学生として４名が在籍しています。
　箕島校長先生との挨拶の後、3グループに別れて電気Labo、創造技術ファクトリー、化学コースLaboのキャンパスツアーを行いました。その後、ＬＥＤ製造で有名な日亜化学工業株式会社ショールームの見学を行いました。午後からは、情報コース岡本教授によるＡＩプロジェクト体験等で専攻科生との交流を深めました。3グループに別れて、Tea　Ceremony体験やeスポーツ愛好会、阿南市インキュベーションセンターバンブーケミカル研究所見学を行いました。
　今回の訪問を機にますます両校の国際交流が活発になることが期待されます。

A Visiting Group from Republic Polytechnic (a Partner School) Visits Our School

On Thursday, October 3, 2024, a delegation from Republic Polytechnic, Singapore, visited our school. The group included Professor Kelvin Loo, Professor Tan Boon Kiat, Professor Steven Chong, and 36 students. Republic Polytechnic is a comprehensive partner school of our organization’s headquarters.

As part of the JASSO Overseas Partnership Program, our school will be sending two students to Republic Polytechnic in 2023 and 2024. Additionally, four students from Republic Polytechnic have been enrolled as special auditors since September.

After a warm welcome from Principal Minoshima, the visiting students were divided into three groups and toured our campus. They visited the Electric Lab, Creative Technology Factory, and Chemistry Lab. The group also toured the showroom of Nichia Corporation, renowned for its LED manufacturing.

In the afternoon, the students engaged in deeper interactions with our specialized course students by participating in an AI project led by Professor Okamoto of the Information Course. The students were again divided into three groups and participated in a tea ceremony, visited the e-sports club, and toured the Bamboo Chemical Research Institute at the Anan City Incubation Center.
