2024年11月29日(金)、本校留学生を対象に生活安全等講習を開催し、７名が参加しました。講習では、阿南警察署警備課の方にお越しいただき、日本での交通ルールやマナー、主要な道路標識の説明や、自転車利用者のヘルメット着用などについて説明を受けました。
　あわせて日本では地震や台風等の災害の発生が多いことから、災害発生時の対処方法について多言語対応の防災ハンドブックを用いて説明があり、緊急地震速報の音源を使用したシェイクアウト訓練も実施しました。参加した留学生たちにとって、日本で安心して生活をするための知識を学ぶ良い機会となりました。

Safety Seminar Held for International Students

On Friday, November 29, 2024, a safety seminar was held for international students attending our school. Seven students participated in the seminar, which featured a presentation by a member of the Anan Police Station Security Division. The presentation covered traffic rules and etiquette in Japan, explanations of main road signs, and emphasized the importance of wearing helmets while cycling.

Given Japan’s susceptibility to natural disasters such as earthquakes and typhoons, the seminar also addressed disaster preparedness. A multilingual disaster prevention handbook was used to explain appropriate responses during such events, and a shakeout drill was conducted using the emergency earthquake alert sound.
